Bookings are taken up to five years in advance. Please contact us with regards to your booking dates.

Prices
You won't find our prices on the website. The very best way to get a date and a price for your event is to phone us for a quote. Every camp is different: ages, purposes, numbers, extras, catering, facilities used etc.

A two-way phone conversation in which you describe your event and we ask questions is the quickest way for both of us to be clear about what you want and how much that will cost. We then plug the numbers into a quote spreadsheet and email that to you.

A price list is certainly available with ajustments for Consumer Price Index laid out for a few years ahead which we can email to you. However, nothing beats a two-way conversation.

Near the bottom of this page is an Enquiry/Booking Form. If you fill in the Enquiry section of that and press Submit, we will have all the information we need to get straight back to you with a quote.

Conditions of Hire

The camp manager and staff are representatives of the Chosen Valley Camp Trust, and their direction as to the use of the property must be observed at all times.  Camps must be conducted in an orderly manner with the following standards observed:

Please NOTE: ABSOLUTELY NO -

Defacing of walls or furniture
Gambling
Alcohol
Chewing gum
Animals/Pets
Smoking on site
Firearms
Knives
Fireworks (unless given prior permission)
Lighting fires without permission from Camp Manager
Moving of mattresses and/or furniture without prior arrangement with Camp Manager.

Safety
Due to Health and Safety regulations, we have a Risk Analysis Management System (RAMS) in place. RAMs forms and activity supervisor requirements are on the website on the  Activities tab.

If you will be using Chosen Valley Christian Camp’s activities those supervising the activities will be required to undergo a Health and Safety briefing.  This usually takes one hour.   NOTE:  Go, No Go and Wait signs must be obeyed at all times.  Please ensure that denim is not worn around the pond area.

You will be required to provide a first aid kit and qualified First Aider for you your group and also a Fire Warden.

Duties
All campers are expected to assist with duties and cleaning, including:

Setting and clearing tables
Dishwashing (must wear covered shoes)
Sweeping and mopping dining room
Cleaning toilets and showers before leaving
Cleaning cabins and buildings used before leaving
General cleaning- vacuuming all used areas etc before leaving Note: Please Empty vacuum bags into green Wheelie Bins after final clean up

We expect the the campsite to be left clean and in good condition.

Noise Curfew
All camp noise is to be kept to a minimum after 10.30pm.  Noise carries clearly to our neighbours up and down the valley. 

Bedding
We provide matresses and one blanket per bed. In the cottages linen can be provided for an extra charge. Please check the cost before your arrival. We need two weeks notice if you require linen.

Bookings
We reserve the right to take multiple bookings in the camp. Pencil Bookings will be held for three weeks only. 

Bond
No booking is confirmed until a bond and a booking form has been received. The  bond will be returned on request if it is not used for a further booking, after your departure  provided that no loss or wilful damage is reported or found resulting from your stay and, that our standard of cleanliness has been met. The bond will not be discounted from your bill. It will be refunded separately. In the event of a cancellation this bond is non-refundable.

Cancellation
Cancellation for a booking within 90 days of your camp date will result in you being invoiced at the rate of $1500 per day for each day booked. Cancellation within 30 days will result in you being invoiced at the rate that would have applied if you had come.
