Waiting List
In the weeks leading up to camp you can see at the top of this page how full we are. The numbers are updated regularly. A full camp consists of exactly 42 boys and 42 girls. Once full we open a waiting list then contact people at the top of the list when places become available. We have been able to accept a surprisingly large number of people on the waiting list due to sickness, funerals, and change of life circumstances. Obviously it is best to register as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
If your child is well down on the waiting list, and a week or two out from the camp you think he or she might miss out on a camping experience, you may like to enrol your child at Willow Park Camp in Eastern Beach near Howick. They have a large capacity and are always able to absorb those we can't fit in at Chosen Valley. Also check out Camp Raglan.

Friends
If your child wants to be placed with a friend, please write the name in the form below. We cannot always guarantee that your child will be placed with the person they requested. Just remember that camp is about making NEW friends. Once your child has been placed in a cabin please ask him/her not to ask to be changed as we don’t want to offend anyone.
In organising cabins, it helps us MOST if you can leave the Friend place blank on the Registration Form! However, if you have a special request, do write it down.
Medical
I understand that whilst all practical care will be taken, neither Chosen Valley Christian Camp nor their staff or trustees will be held responsible for injury or damage or loss of property. In the event of serious injury I understand I will be contacted immediately at the phone numbers I have supplied, and I authorise Chosen Valley Camp to seek appropriate and proper medical attention, for which reimbursement may be required. If necessary I will collect my children if it is not appropriate for them to continue staying at camp.
Paracetamol may be administered for minor pain. Please do not come to camp if your child has had diarrhea, vomiting or been in contact with a contagious disease 40 hours prior to the start of camp.
